Course Description

Teacher in Charge: Ben Hancock

Health education develops students understanding of factors that influence the health and wellbeing of individuals, others and society. Students will investigate the importance of nutrition and the impacts it has on our lives, they will take action to implement a program to improve the wellbeing of others in the school, and they will look at some of the Health issues facing society today. Students will develop competencies in mental health, reproductive health & positive sexuality, as well as healthy living skills.

This subject will be offered and give the opportunity to gain 2 UE approved subjects if students take the level 2 & level 3 options.
