Course Description

Dance is a very popular subject at Wesley College thanks to a strong history with the Secondary Schools Polyfest. In Dance we continue to explore movement that is created with intent, purpose and form. Dance elements, vocabularies, processes and technologies are used to express personal, group and cultural identities. Students develop literacy in dance as they learn about and develop skills in performing and choreography. Students who enjoy performance and who are willing to take risks within a safe and supportive space will enjoy this subject.
